The municipality of A Coruña is located in the province of A Coruña, belonging to the Autonomous Community of Galicia, northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. Bordered on the north by the Atlantic Ocean to the southwest with the municipality of Arteixo, the east by the municipality of Oleiros and the estuary of A Coruña, and south by the municipality of Culleredo. The municipality consists of five parishes: A Coruña, Elviña, Oza, San Cristovo das Vinas, and Visma, including a total population of 45 entities.
